School Lunch

For those of you that receive our news letter know that I have been in prayer about cooking lunch for the school kids. After much prayer and encouragement and the ok from the mission. I am cooking one meal a week (on Tuesday) for the kids. The first one was the week before Thanksgiving. I made them Navajo Taco, with fruit cups and pudding cups. They seem to enjoy it.
Today was our second lunch and I made lasagna, with green bean casserole and tangelos. This time we remember to take some pictures.
 Soupy Lasagna!
 Green Bean Casserole!
 Flopped Fry Bread!
Tangelos!
The kids are enjoying it!
They also love Chocolate Milk!
Thank you for your prayers on the matter!

Updated on Napi

Since puppies have this thing about growing fast the first year. I thought it might be time to update you on Napi.
This is her and Mark on this birthday!

 Where is she!
 There she is!
Queen of her dirt (sand) pile!

We went to my brother for Thanksgiving. His neighbor two houses down has a puppy. Napi has a new friend. These picture are after they chase each other in the yard for a couple of hours, then we went on a hour hike with them. Napi is usually the one on the bottom, somehow Mark got picture where Napi was on top or getting the best of her new friend. I think he was not use to all this running around.

I know you can see a hand in this, but they had been caring the stick together. That is when Mark went and got the camera, and just like kids they stopped doing it.
So that is our (Mark's) Napi!
Some are saying she might have some Springer Spaniel because of her coloring. She does like to go after the birds.
The way she also likes going after rabbits I tease Mark she has Beagle some where.
But as calm as she is I still think she has some Border Collie in there too.
But what ever she is, she is what she is!
Mark's Napi!

What The Lord Has Been Doing

Fear hinders faith, but trust kindles confidence. I read this the other day and trying to put into practice each day. I' also just take one day at a time. Trusting God with the big and little things of life. Guess what! We are having a better week!

When God calls................He equips!

Sorry about the post about Rosie I don't know what happen or how to fix it. But we move on.(That is why I don't have a smart phone. Having 2 piece of equipment smarter then me would be just to much to handle!

Our Friend, Rosie

We went to her funeral on Friday. The church was packed and about 50 of us had to stand in the back. You could tell she was loved and she loved the Lord. The preacher said more than once that if anyone there wanted to see Rosie again they knew what they needed to do, to make that happen.

The day she passed away her husband, Eddie text. This is what he text "Rosie finished the race."

I just felt I need to share this with you all. Please keep the family in your prayers as they learn what the normal will be for them.

Rosie was a sweet lady and will be missed, but we know she is in heaven with no more pain and some day we will meet again on the other side.

Sorry I don't know what happen. I thought I could cut and paste and only took from the paper the part I wanted and added the above. But as you can see that didn't work out so well. Boy, did I get a suprise when I was showing Mark what I did today. I hope this fixes it.

This was the write up in the paper on Rosie.

November 11

Do you know if this year, November 11 was not on a Sunday, we still would not get mail on this date? Do you know why? No, its not because it's Veteran's Day. It's because back on this date in 1959 one very special guy was born.

I love you Mark!
We all love you!
Happy Birthday!

Nappi's First Snow

We went to Arizona to visit my brother, Merrill for Mark's birthday. Saturday morning Nappi needed to go out side around 6:00am. Mark came back in saying it had snowed.
Nappi wasn't sure of the snow at first.

 So pretty!
Do you have this out side your school?

Just had to take this one. No, we didn't set this up. She just was standing there!

Nappi still checking out the snow.
 We had a great walk!

Mark kept saying, Man, this would be great for hunting!

 Ganado Lake

Sorry, in case you don't know.
 We like snow!
