Napi's Adopted Dog Family

Napi has adopted the other dogs on the mission as her family.
This is Grandpa Buddy, he just putt's up with Napi bouncing all around.

This is Uncle Boomer, he gets a little rough with Napi.
He thinks he is top dog.

Then come Big Brother Samson. They are the best of buds.
They eat and drink out of the same dish.
When both are loose, they are always together. We need to separate them some times (time out) not because they are bad, but Napi forgets to rest and eat. She is still a puppy, yet.

No Samson does not live with us. He is Mary Lou's dog. He just comes and visits sometimes.
 Napi sharing her bed.
Mark told me that Napi was getting to big for the box. Samson shot that idea.
 Mark being Mark!
Poor dogs, what they have to put up with!

Yes Napi had her turn, too.
Some picture you don;t even have to try to get....
they just happen. The right click at the right time!
Wink!

She is so spoiled, so loved(by Mark), so Napi.

Icicles

Mark took this one through the kitchen window!
This one I took, peeking through the tree.

Baby Rag Quilt

Teaching the Navajo ladies how to quilt has not worked out. The timing is just not right. I don't think it was in God's plan. I know sometimes that is how it works out.
Sorry, I have gotten sidetrack from blogging this past week.
But I got the sewing bug!
Our daughter, Lacey is having a baby in July. I figured is was time to make this one a rag quilt. As I was cutting out the squares, I remember I had a little great-nephew that was born just a little while ago. So I thought I better get his done, too.
You have all ready seen his picture, but here it is again.
Jasper
This is the making of Jasper's quilt!

This way I will remember I made it in New Mexico!
Jasper's Daddy and Grandpa raises pigs.
I was so happy when I found this material. It just fit!

Happy Valentines Day!

This is a cloudy day in New Mexico! We can't see the mesa. Since May, when we got here, there are very few cloudy days. I think only about 2 or 3 times it was completely cloud cover, not counting snowstorms.

If you look real hard you can see Colorado, snow cap mountains, Mark and I love looking at them. They didn't show up as good as I had hope in the picture.
 Another New Mexico sunset!

Mark took these pictures. He like what the sun did to the mesa.

Thank you for your Love and Prayer support!
Happy Valentines Day!

Back When......

Remember hearing your Grandpa and Grandma saying way back when I was a younging, in the winter the roads where so bad. The ruts where this deep. If you what to relive or see what they were talking about come visit us in New Mexico. But if you can't here are some pictures that Mark took. These are the roads he travels 2x a day getting the school kids.

The next picture is why the barrels are there.

The roads had been worst but we didn't think about getting picture, just not getting stuck!
Mark says you know it is bad when you are in 4-wheel drive, going down hill, and you are still spinning.
These next three Mark took with in 30 seconds.

What a sunrise!
